Barry has been a Paramedic and active in EMS in Alberta for over 20 years. During this time, primarily with Edmonton EMS, he has been a Supervisor of Paramedics, a Training Officer, and Head of Public Safety and Education. He has been seen and heard on numerous local and national broadcasts as an advocate for Safety and Injury Prevention across Canada.
During his busy career Barry has been the Operations Manager of rural EMS services while still working with Edmonton EMS. He acquired his "Facilitator of Adult Education" background from the University of Alberta and attained his formal Incident Command Training from Vermilion Fire Fighting Academy. He has worked as an international Flight Medic, and is proud of his part in helping develop safety and treatment protocols for the NHL's Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club.
Barry oversees the daily operations of CIP and is essential to envisioning and shaping the future for CIP as it continues to evolve and grow as a leader in Industrial Emergency Medical Care.
Barry lives in Sherwood Park, Alberta with his wife and three sons. Both Barry and CIP are active in the community providing services for events such as Safe Grads and financial support to local community teams such as the Sherwood Park Crusaders Junior “A” Hockey Team.

Tom began his EMS career in rural Alberta as an EMT and graduated as a Paramedic from NAIT in 1986. He held a number of positions while working 22 years for Edmonton Emergency Medical Services (EMS): Flight Paramedic, Flight Program Coordinator, Dispatcher, Acting Supervisor, Training Officer, Special Operation Superintendent and Deputy Chief of Deployment and Logistics.
Tom completed his Occupation Health & Safety certificate and Business Management certificate through the U of A Faculty of Extension and has a degree in Heath Sciences through Charles Sturt University, NSW Australia.
Tom left Edmonton EMS in 2006 and joined CIP as the Health and Safety Advisor. He has since taken on further challenges as CIP'S HS&E Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, as well as the head of Human Resources. Tom is instrumental in the development and shaping of CIP as well as Industrial EMS in Alberta.
Tom makes his home in St. Albert with his wife Sarah who has been an Emergency Nurse since graduation from the Royal Alex in 1983. Their daughter and son are actively involved in a variety of sports within the community.

Dr. Stan M. Kolber.,
MSc., MD., CCFP,, LL.B., FCLM., FCCLM
Stan Kolber obtained his Bachelor's Degree, in Psychology and Philosophy in
1964. Dr.Kolber acquired his Masters of Science Degree in Psychology in
1967,and his Medical Degree in 1971. In 1984, Dr. Kolber was awarded a Law
Degree. All of his degrees were obtained at the University of Alberta.
Dr.Kolber acquired his certification from the Canadian College of Family
Physicians in 1975, his Fellowship in the American College of Legal Medicine
in 1986; and his Fellowship in the Canadian College of Legal Medicine in
1987.
Dr. Kolber maintains a busy full time Private Practice and has several years
experience in Emergency Medicine. He has, since obtaining his Law degree,
developed a special interest in Medical malpractice, patient's rights, peer
review and medical-legal issues. Dr. Kolber has been recognized on a number
of occasions by the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen' s
Bench of Alberta as an expert witness in General Medicine.
Dr. Kolber has written a book titled, "A Doctor's Guide to Preventive
Litigation, A Study of Canadian Medical and Dental Negligence" in 1985. In
1989, Dr. Kolber wrote a second book entitled, "Medical Malpractice in
Canada - A Physician's Perspective."
Dr, Kolber has also written a number of articles which discuss patient's
rights, peer review, legal liabilities of hospitals and other legal issues.
Dr. Kolber has lectured on numerous occasions regarding medical liability of
health care workers to various professional organizations. For approximately
15 years He has been the medical officer of many companies that provide
paramedic and other safety services to the movie and industrial settings.
Tammy Hills,
Sales and Public Relations
Tammy Hills is in charge of CIP Sales and Public Relations and is the face of
CIP in Calgary. Tammy is often found in meetings with prospective and current
clients in both Calgary and Edmonton and is involved with all Public Relations
efforts.
Tammy is a registered EMT and has been involved in the EMS for 15 years, working
urban and rural Alberta, as well as industrial settings. Tammy spent the
majority of her EMS career with the City of Edmonton. She expanded her career in
the health care industry by focusing on educating, consulting, managing and now
sales and P.R. Tammy represents CIP both locally and internationally.
Tammy is a vital component of CIP and enjoys working and living in Calgary.
During her time off Tammy enjoys watching and playing hockey, wakeboarding,
camping, and travelling. She looks forward to helping shape CIP’s future and
continues to provide exception customer service for CIP.
Community Liaison Todd Carrier - REMT/P
Todd is a Registered Paramedic in Alberta and has been active in EMS for over 17
years. Todd's entire paramedic career has been with the busy service of Edmonton
EMS. During this time, Todd has enjoyed the opportunity to expand his role and
is currently a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team, as
well as the Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) team.
Todd is responsible for facilitating defusing / debriefings of peers and
co-workers when they are exposed to critical events. He is also a member of TEMS,
responsible for accompanying the Edmonton Police Service's Tactical team on
various calls and providing advanced medical treatments while in the tactical
environment.
As Community Liaison, Todd oversees CIP’s commitments to all communities in
which we work. This is particularly important in the aboriginal communities.
Todd is an aboriginal himself and understands the intricately unique needs and
cultural environments of aboriginal communities.
Todd lives in Edmonton, Alberta with his wife Christine and is a proud father of
three boys and a girl.

Barb Goulet has experience in the Health Care Industry as an emergency practitioner, educator and consultant. A graduate with an honours diploma in paramedicine from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Barb also holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Health Studies from Charles Sturt University, NSW Australia. Her professional experience spans more than 25 years in Emergency Medical & Fire Rescue Services. As Infection Control Practitioner and Consultant for CIP and IC&P Essentials, Barb designs programs based on an understanding of disease transmission and prevention. She uses evidence-based research, follows current legislation and published best practices to enhance and promote patient safety and employee safety focused practice, regardless of the healthcare setting.
Barb resides in Edmonton, Alberta, where her #1 priority is raising her two wonderful children.
